NIDS – SATYA strengthened more than 1,75,090 urban and rural women and created a platform through helpline and centers where they can update with legal knowledge and through entrepreneurship development with an approach of group working in India – specifically in Rajasthan and Madhya Pradesh

  • Entrepreneurship is a very important catalytic agent for promoting economic independence among women.
  • Women Empowerment at NIDS-SATYA is served through “support and facilitation through legal awareness and training “and” livelihood –entrepreneurship programme”.

  • Always laid emphasis on making women economically independent through micro-entrepreneurship promoted by means of skill development and ensuring sustainability of their enterprises in order to develop their socio-economic status.

  • Women Legal Aid Helpline – protection to Women
  • Training & Skill development – Training poor women and provide them opportunities of self-employment to improve their social and economic status.
  • Credit / Micro Credit / Self Help Groups – Provision of credit paves for social justice and empowerment  
  • Capacity Building – equipping self – employed women with information, knowledge, technology, training and managerial techniques.
  • Legal awareness and Property Rights – Generating awareness among women regarding their legal rights and also providing loan facilities to buy land in groups.
  • Protection from abuse – Works for the poor women living in urban India who face any sort of abuse.
  • Education – Educating and creating awareness among women especially the rural women.
  • Access to ICT – Promotes the use of information and Communication Technology (ICT) for empowering women.
  • Access to Agri. Inputs – Women easily can now access agricultural inputs like seeds, fertilizers etc.

  • Since inception, working extensively on protecting child rights – the child in need of care and protection and child in conflict with law.
  • Nationally recognized for ensuring qualitative implementation of child protection programmes in the state of Rajasthan.
  • Through  numerous research and training (specially providing training on JJ Act, Adoption, and Childline etc.) to its  stakeholders and awareness/sensitization/advocacy programmes and the venturing with High court , supreme court ,department of social  welfare ,department of women and child and institutions like NIPCCD,NISD, CARA , UNICEF reflects creating a platform where the voice of child is heard in fulfilling their needs and demands  .
  • NIDS-SATYA passion to serve little hearts was given a direction in the form of license to run Child Home – “Satya Bal Ashram” for the child in need of care and protection and conflict with law from Department of Child Rights and it also runs a “Shelter Home”.
